Ronald Quintero has been working on the oil and gas industry for the last 25 years. He started his career with technical roles as Database Manager and G&G Application Support, then moved to roles IT G&G Advisor with Chevron and Petrobras. In Petrobras, his role had LatAm Regional responsibilities. It allowed him to work in Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, and Brazil. After that, Ronald took a position with SAIC that moved him to Calgary Canada, where he spent 4 years before he moved to Houston to join JOA, a small company from the Netherlands as a BDM for their Reservoir Modeling Software. Baker Hughes then bought JOA, and Ronald was promoted to Regional Sales Manager for Latin America with a focus on their 3 offerings: Reservoir Modeling, Geomechanics, and Fracture modeling. After 6 years, he then moved to CARBO Ceramics, where he reported to the VP of Software and was in charge of global Fracpro sales.
Ronald lives in Houston, TX, with his wife Carolina, who is a Geomechanics SME for Baker Hughes. He enjoys traveling, reading, and listening to Jazz music.
